John has spent the majority of his veterinary life in Taupo after starting here upon graduating in 1970.
After that various interludes were spent overseas in the UK & Canada, back to Wellington then to Kaikohe before seeing the light and returning to the Central Plateau in 1976 to take advantage of the great environment for the family and the variety of work the practice offered.
He has seen the practice grow from a 2 vet operation to the business we have today.
John considers himself a ‘Veterinary GP’ with a special interest in the advanced reproduction techniques as applied to deer.
