Karl is a fifth generation Cantabrian who graduated alongside Darren, Andrew, Anna and Sally in 1995.

After 3 years working in Te Aroha, Karl ventured off to the UK where he worked predominantly in Windsor.  There, he got to treat a few of Elizabeth’s cows and horses, and to see how the other half lives.

Karl is now based at VETPlus Rural where he has a varied job description covering dairy planned animal health programmes, deer velvet assessment, bull fertility testing and equine work. On Thursdays Karl works out of VETPlus Reporoa to ensure the morning teas are up to scratch.

In his spare time Karl used to enjoy competing in the Coast to Coast but now is concentrating on training his three boys to fulfil his life long dream of playing for the Crusaders.
