Kyle grew up in the Rotorua area and after completing school he went to Palmerston North and completed a Vet degree. Now he returns to Rotorua 5 years later as the latest edition to VETPlus Rural Team and to enjoy the lifestyle that Rotorua has to offer. This includes the lakes, forests and close beaches to which he hopes to flee to as often as possible in between work.  

Kyle also loves sport including tennis, badminton, squash, table tennis, hockey, rugby and running.
